We Want Your Used Crayons
Girls Empowerment Movement Crayon Initiative
Join Lucky To Live Here Realty and Pashley Children's Boutique as they assist the Girls Empowerment Movement (GEM) in collecting crayons for the Crayon Initiative. The Crayon Initiative takes your used and unwanted crayons, melts and reshapes the crayons and then donates them to children in hospitals. Seeing their new crayons brings a smile to their faces and brightens their day. Creating art is not only a form of entertainment but also serves as a form of therapy.
Make a child happy while also recycling - its a win win!
Bring used or unwanted/used crayons to our office at 129 Main Street in Cold Spring Harbor
or stop in to Pashleys Children's Boutique at 169 Main Street in Cold Spring Harbor.
Additional drop off location at South Huntington Public Library at 145 Pidgeon Hill Road, Huntington Station.
What is the Crayon Initiative?
Donate used or unwanted crayons to the Crayon Initiative who in turn donates them to children in hospitals! It does not stop there. The Crayon Initiative melts down the donated crayons which is then made into new larger three sided crayon which is easier to handle and also does not roll off hospital trays.
